Mr. Popper was reading a book about the South Pole, hẹ liked South Pole especially the penguins. He also wrote a letter for Admiral Drake. Drake thanked him for the letter, he sent him present all the way from the South Pole. When Mr. Popper opened it, there was a penguin inside!  Mr. Popper decided to name him Captain Cook (Penguin). Mr. Popper drilled 5 holes in the refrigerator and put other handles inside the refrigerator. Captain Cook got used of getting in and out of the refrigerator. When Mr. Popper took him outside, he put Captain Cook on a leash.  Then one day, Captain Cook was sick ! Everyone in the town tried to tempt him.
