A. What is the difference between common and proper nouns? Give 10 examples on each noun and use them in sentences?

Proper noun - are names for particular people, places or things. They always begin with a capital letter.

Earth, Sun, Moon, Busan, Seoul, Ulsan, Paris, America, Mexico, Korea

Tom is playing soccer.

 

Common noun - are words for people, animals, places, or things.

pencil, clock, paper, computer, eraser, mouse, tiger, elephant, cat, sofa

This pencil is long.

 

B. Make these sentences into English.

Yes, I had good time. -> Yes, I did.

=> Another way: Your sentence is okay and this is another way of saying it.

 

 

-여러분 모두 좋은 시간을 보냈군요.

You were have good time. -> You had a wonderful time.

=> Your sentence has a correct grammatical structure, but this has the correct usage/ expression.

 

 

-너희들 돌돌이 봤니?

Haven`t you seen Doldol? -> Did you see Doldol?

=> Another way: Your sentence is okay and this is another way of saying it.
